Tropical Storms and Hurricanes

You know during tropical storm fran I noticed one thing! The residential neighbor hoods that have the vynl frencing were destroyed. The fences knocked down and ripped off their beams. I don't think Vynl fencing should be allowed in florida what do you think? Out of all the fencing that could be destroyed vynl was the only I saw on the North side that got hit the worst. The wood fences even though they end up looking rough survived and so did the chain link. But the vynl was gone. Can you honestly think of those fences being destroyed during a tropical storm and coming through a window or a back door if your back yard is facing the outside of the fence? Even the big beams were gone. I'd rather see a brick fence around a new development and make it look classy than a cheap vynl fence that can be vandalized and torn apart at any point in time.
