Public Relations & Media Relations Business Sense

J-Schools are booming but is the PR curriculum keeping pace?

Recently Forbes.com published a story on the irony of while newspapers and magazines are going under at an unprecedented rate, enrollment in journalism schools around this country is at an all-time high. The crux of the article being that these advancing hordes of would-be journalists have little to look forward to in the way of meaningful employment after college other than less than desirable journalistic exercises such as Cat Fancy magazine or even teaching in this current recession. Although one can’t help but assume that Cat Fancy, teaching, or even Forbes.com might be very desirable given the current job market.

Republican Liberty Caucus National Convention and Banquet - March 28, 2009

JOIN US FOR DINNER!

Please join the Republican Liberty Caucus on March 28, 2009 as we welcome Dr. Lawrence W. Reed, president of the Foundation for Economic Education. He will be giving a speech on the Federal Reserve and "Great Myths of the Great Depression."

National radio host Mike Church from Sirius Patriot 144 and XM American Right 166 will be addressing our attendees and emceeing the event.  He will have a special message for the banquet attendees, followed by a video montage, and finally Dr. Reed's speech.

Considering the current economic and constitutional crisis this is a "must attend" event for all liberty-minded individuals. Join us as we come together to restore individual liberty, limited constitutional government and free-markets.

FABULOUS NEW NORTHSIDE RESTAURANT OPENING TODAY!!!!

Good morning everyone!

A new restaurant is opening today on the Northside and it is well worth your patronage! The family that owns Juniors Sandwich shop has taken over the space next door and is opening a new seafood restaurant called  - JUNIORS SEAFOOD!

I went to a pre-opening dinner there last night and the food was EXTRAORDINARY and VERYinexpensive. I cannot offer enough praise to the cleanliness and classiness of the place. The staff were incredible and enjoyable. This place beats all the other local restaurants hands down!

They have everything you can think of on the menu from clams to crabs to steak.
